Single Deep Spot of Turkey; Acarlar Deep Spot
You may be heard “Deep Spot” word for first time. So we want to start our today’s writing by explaining my current writing “Deep Spot” word. Deep Spot is said to flood plain forestland and is rarely seen in the world due to its formation.
The Acarlar Deep Spot, which we will talk about in our writing today, was formed thousands of years ago in the where Sakarya River flows into the Black Sea and has became a forest where water-loving plants grow. This site, which is the second largest deep spot on the world, covers a total area of 1562 hectares.
In this place, which has a very rich flora, animal diversity is extremely high. Especially because it is close to Istanbul, we can say that it is a place which musn’t be missed for holidays on weekends. Like Ağva – Şuayipli Village which is one of the places we mentioned in our previous article, it is place where you can parlay your weekend for holiday.
Acarlar Deep Spot (Longoz)
Located between Karasu and Kaynarca districts, this place is only 700 meters away from the Black Sea and welcomes visitors as the Grade 1 natural site area. If you are interested in deep spots, as you know, there are two deep stops in our country. One of the deep spots is Iğneada deep spot near Kırklareli. If you do not have a plan for the weekend at the m soment, we strongly recommend you to try Acarlar Deep Spot.
We have mentioned that various animal species live in Longoz. These animal species are; Pheasant, snake, jackal, snipe, tortoise, mallard, wild goose, fox, wild boar. There are living carp, pike, catfish, gray mullet and various fish species in the lake. In this place which has a total length of 16 km, 4-kilometer section offers boat and paddle boat tours. Do not ever think of coming back from here without doing a boat tour. There are also facilities to help meet your personal needs here.
