HOW CAN WE GO TO THE PALACE?
The Palace is built on the brow of a hill in the 5km east of Dogubeyazıt in Agri. For people who want to visit the palace there is always local transportation and the entrance fee of the palace is only 5tl.
Abdi Pasha, who has lost his arm during Iran siege and has been assigned to Dogubeyazit as flag officer, wants to build a secure place for his troops. The construction of the palace starts with Abdi Pasha in 1685, and is completed by his descendant Mehmet Pasha in 1784. This is a long duration for construction.
Ishak Pasha Palace amazes everybody who goes there because of the architectural combination of tree cultures of Ottoman, Persian and Seljuk. The most amazing part of the palace is that the first central heating system has been constructed ingeniously. The Palace has been decorated with white and black stones which are brought from mountain with the great effort of public. It consists of 366 rooms, two courtyards, mosque, tombs and harem.

The other rumour is about the amazing substructure that villagers pour milk from mountain and it flows from fountains of the palace.
