With its Wonderful Nature, Fırtına Stream
With its lenght of about 58 Km, the Fırtına Stream located in the Eastern Black Sea flows into Rize Ardeşen from 2 – 2,5 Km west. The basin, located within the Ardeşen and Çamlıhemşin district borders, is one of the largest river basins of the Eastern Black Sea with an area of 1177,03 km². Fırtına River / Fırtına Valley river basin is protected by accepting as the natural protection area with its ecological structure.
Fırtına strem which consists of being merged of streams flowing from slopes facing to sea of Kaçkar mountains, forms many large and small lakes, ponds and cascades by ramifying.
Mountains rising from the sea like a wall reach 3900 meters after a distance of 35 – 40 km bird flight. Kaçkar Mountain with a height of 3932 meters is the 4th biggest summit of Turkey. The mountains of 1,500 meters and above are covered with dense fog almost every month of the year
With its wonderful nature, Fırtına stream has made the activities of the nature sports clubs, and the rafting of local and foreign tourists possible, with its rafting sport and parkours that is suitable for rafting. The region is also one of the places preferred by adrenaline and nature lovers.

Çamlıhemşin is reached after 22 km from Rize- Ardeşen road, by following the highway, going along south. And the parkour can be started from approximately 1 km south of Çamlıhemşin. After start the parkour, the dangerous passages on the 8th and 9th kilometers must be investigated before the parkour, paying attention to the large rocks at the 5th kilometer. At the 12th kilometer, the Duygu waterfall, which flows from the hillside in the west direction, gives a distinctive beauty to the region. you can finish the parkour at a suitable place which is before the level where Fırtına stream flows into the Black Sea.
